At Lokali.T, LLC (“Lokality Digital Archive and Tours,” “Lokali.T,” “we,” “our,” and/or “us”), your privacy is important to us. In this Privacy Policy, we tell you what information we collect, share with others, and how we use it.
Scope of this Privacy Policy
Lokali.T values the privacy of individuals who use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, our “Platform”). This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, and share information from Lokali.T’s users (“Users”). It applies to our customers (“Customers”), institutions and organizations that partner with us to provide historical or cultural content (“Content Partners”), and other partners and/or end users who use our Platform to access, purchase, or interact with our digital archives and tours (“Partners”).
By using the Platform, you agree to the Privacy Policy and any future amendments and additions. Your use of our Platform is also subject to our Terms of Service.
1. Information Lokali.T Collects From Users
Lokali.T collects information from its Users. The categories of information we collect are described below in this Section 1.
A. Information You Provide Directly to Us
Customers
Sign Up and Profile Information. When you sign up for Lokali.T as a Customer, you provide us with information, including, but not limited to, your name, email address, and password. If you sign up using your Apple ID, Google account, or another third-party login (such as Facebook), we may receive information such as your name, email address, and profile image as permitted by your settings on those services. You may also upload a profile picture and, if desired, optional biographical information.
Purchase and Access Information. When you purchase tours, event tickets, or premium archive content through our Platform, we collect transaction-related details such as the purchased item name, access duration, date and time of purchase, and applicable price.
Feedback. We may ask you for feedback on your experience, which may include ratings and written reviews of tours, archives, or the Platform itself.
Surveys. We may offer an opportunity to participate in surveys, promotions, or contests. When a User participates, we may request certain information which may include name and email address.
Payment Information. We do not directly collect or store your payment card information. All in-app purchases are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. These platforms may provide us with limited transaction data, such as transaction ID, purchase date, and product purchased, which we use for fulfillment, recordkeeping, and support purposes.
Content Partners and Other Partners
Profile Information. A Partner who signs up for our Platform provides us with certain information, including, but not limited to, contact name, phone number, email address, physical address, organizational details, hours of operation, and content descriptions.
Payment Information. If applicable, we may receive a Partner’s bank account information to provide payment for revenue-sharing arrangements, as well as any other information necessary to set up payment.
All Users
Communications. If you contact us directly, we may collect additional information about you. For example, when you contact our support team via email or in-app chat, we will receive and may retain your name, email address, and the contents of any message or attachments that you may send to us, as well as any other information you choose to provide.
User-Generated Content. Customers may be able to post reviews, ratings, or public comments related to tours, events, or archival materials. This content may be visible to other users of the Platform.
B. Information We Collect Automatically Through Your Use of the Platform
Location Information. If you enable location services, we may collect location data from your device when the Lokali.T app is in use (either foreground or background) to suggest relevant nearby tours or events, provide location-based historical content, or for analytics purposes. Location access can be disabled in your device settings.
Device Information. We receive information from Users’ devices, including IP address, browser type, mobile operating system version, device manufacturer and model, unique device identifiers (such as Apple’s IDFA or Android’s Advertising ID), and mobile network information.
Usage Information. We automatically receive information about your interactions with our Platform, such as pages viewed, content accessed, search queries, and dates/times of visits, to help us understand how you use our Platform and improve our services.
Information from Cookies and Similar Technologies. We and our service providers use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to understand how you navigate through and interact with our Platform, remember preferences, and personalize content.
C. Personal Information from Publicly Available Sources and Third Parties
Information We Receive From Partners. If you access Lokali.T content through a partner institution or purchase access via a third-party promotion, we may receive information about your transaction from that partner, including your name, email address, and purchased content details.
Information From Analytics and Social Media Platforms. We may collect data from analytics providers or social networks you connect with our Platform, subject to their own privacy policies and your account settings.
2. How We Use The Information We Collect From Users
We use the information collected from and about Users for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Provide Services and Features. To deliver, personalize, and improve the Platform, process your transactions, and provide access to purchased content.
- Communications. To send service-related messages, respond to inquiries, and provide marketing communications (you can opt out at any time).
- Research and Development. For analytics, product development, and testing to improve user experience.
- Security and Safety. To detect and prevent fraud, protect user accounts, and maintain platform security.
- Legal and Regulatory Compliance. To comply with applicable laws, respond to legal requests, and enforce our Terms of Service.
- Business Purposes. To create aggregated or de-identified data for research, analytics, and marketing.
3. How Lokali.T Shares Information It Collects From Users
We may share your information with:
- Service Providers (hosting, analytics, customer support, marketing, etc.)
- Partners (if you access their content or book through them)
- Legal Authorities (when required by law)
- Business Transactions (mergers, acquisitions, etc.)
- With Your Consent (when you post public content or connect third-party accounts)
4. Online Analytics & Interest-Based Advertising
We may work with analytics providers and advertising partners that use cookies and device identifiers to measure platform performance, deliver relevant content, and provide interest-based advertising.
5. Your Choices
You can update your profile, change location sharing settings, opt out of marketing emails, and request account deletion by contacting us at info@lokality.co.
6. Third-Party Links
The Platform may contain links to other sites or services not controlled by Lokali.T. We are not responsible for their privacy practices.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal data, but no method is 100% secure.
8. Children’s Privacy
Lokali.T is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
9. Consent to Transfer
If you use our Platform from outside the United States, you consent to your data being processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws.
10. Privacy Information for California Residents
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act or CCPA, and subject to exceptions, California residents have certain rights regarding their data, including:
- The right to know the categories of Personal Information we’ve collected and the categories of sources from which we got the information (see Section 1 and the chart below).
- The right to know the business purposes for sharing Personal Information (see Section 2 and the chart below).
- The right to know the categories of third parties with whom we’ve shared Personal Information (see Section 3 and the chart below).
- The right to access the specific pieces of Personal Information we’ve collected and the right to delete your information.
- The right to opt out of having your Personal Information sold. Lokali.T does not sell or rent Personal Information to third parties, as we understand that term to be defined by the CCPA and its implementing regulations.

California residents also have the right to not be discriminated against if they choose to exercise their privacy rights.
As a California resident, you may exercise your right to know or your right to deletion by emailing us at info@lokality.co with the subject line “California Consumer Privacy Act Request.” We do not currently have a reasonable method of verifying the identity of non-registered users to a reasonable degree of certainty, as we do not maintain enough personal information to enable us to verify non-registered users with sufficient certainty. Thus, we cannot honor the access or deletion requests of non-registered users at this time.
Do-Not-Track Disclosure: We are committed to providing you with meaningful choices about the information collected on our Platform for third-party purposes. That is why we have provided the ability to email us with your requests.
California law also permits California residents to request certain information once per year regarding our disclosure of “personal information” (as that term is defined under applicable California law) to third parties for such third parties’ direct marketing purposes. To make such a request, please send written notice, by certified mail or Federal Express (signature required), noting that you are making a “California Privacy Request” to:

11. Nevada Residents
Nevada residents may opt out of the sale of personal information by contacting info@lokality.co.
12. Other Important Information
Parts of the Platform may include third-party integrations, such as mapping tools. Your use of these services is subject to their own privacy policies.
13. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date will be revised accordingly, and significant changes will be communicated.
